Here is a description of their masterpieces:
Church of Our Lady of Lourdes (1888-Present) by GERARD JONATHAN GURUMURTHY
Built in 1888 in a swampy area, the church was modelled after the original church in Lourdes, France. I like its unique architectural design. My grandparents were also married there. Recently, my father revamped the grotto with a stunning water feature. Today, the church stands tall as a national monument.
Merlion and Esplanade by RUEL PANG JING YOUNG, ABEL LOH FU MING and LEE ZHENG YAO, DANIEL
We have chosen the Merlion and Esplanade because they have unique designs. Having the Merlion as a logo would mean POSB is Singapore's bank. These are the most unique places we have seen. Singapore, a first-world country, is known by these places.
Changi Airport by HADJISOPHOCLEOUS EUGENE, ALOYSIUS AMOS LAU, MOHAMED ALI MOHAMED SHARIF and SIN REN XIANG
We would like to protect Singapore Changi Airport. Changi Airport symbolizes the importance of having an open gateway to tourists, as well as those who come here in search of opportunities to work.
Credits to Ms Amanda Soon for the lovely pictures.

Math Quest from Conan
Dear Mr. Huang, Conan wants me to give this two math question to you because he found it challenging especially question 18 B and 17. He can't do at the beginning but I asked him to look at the answer sheet. He got the paper from S. Anthony CA1 for year of 2009. Thank you and sincerely yours, Dju |
